Production Supervisor
Speedplay is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter for the position of Production Supervisor.
Key Duties:
- Supervises the daily activities of production personnel.
- Trains and instructs staff regarding production processes and equipment standards.
- Schedules material releases according to sales forecast and current stock level.
- Tracks work in progress to assure on-time deliver.
- Monitors stock status of finished goods.
- Conducts monthly inventory.
- Oversees QC for receiving inspection, in process inspection and final inspection.
- Effectively delegates supervisory duties to lead person as required.
- Assists with preparation of performance evaluations.
- Participates in the hiring of staff as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
You must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor.
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly-line production.
- Experience in planning work flow of production.
- Experience in quality control and mechanical inspection processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good to excellent skills in Windows based programs, i.e. Word and Excel
- A professional work ethic and excellent follow-through skills.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to select, develop and retain a team of employees.

Marketing Assistant
Speedplay is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials.
Experience and Skills
Four-year degree in marketing or business communications plus two years of relevant experience.
Experience in the cycling or outdoor sporting industry preferred.
Excellent verbal and business writing skills, including exceptional editing/proof-reading skills.
Strong creative aptitude for design.
Must be detail-oriented and have excellent time-management and follow-through skills.
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple projects to meet specific deadlines.
Ability to take initiative.
Good problem solving skills with the ability to think.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
Possess a work ethic that includes enthusiasm, neatness, and punctuality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Adobe CS Photoshop experience a plus.
Ability to work in a small company team environment with flexibility to assume new duties as needed
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with collateral creation and oversee timeline management for advertisements, catalogs, and other projects.
Oversee contact database, e-newsletter creation and distribution.
Assist with packaging development.
Assist with press release creation and distribution.
Assist with updates to website.
Gather market information for sales and product development.
Develop ongoing calendar of promotional events.
Assist with event coordination and execution to include consumer expos, trade shows and sales meetings.
Monitor and update social media content.
